Town Board: State Land scales back Route 202 rezoning request

State Land will limit its rezoning request to the lower 50 acres of the 100 acre site and constraints on the upper 50 acres will be included in a separate document.

1. State Land rezoning request
The applicant decided to revise his rezoning request to include only the lower portion of the site, approximately 50 acres. It was agreed that any constraints on the future development of the upper portion, as well as the maximum square footage that can be developed on the lower portion, will be included in the accompanying SEQRA Findings Statement but not the rezoning resolution.
 
The Board anticipates that both documents will be ready to be voted on at the December 17 meeting.
 
2. Capital projects
Supervisor Grace would like to set aside a special Board meeting devoted exclusively to deciding which capital projects the town should proceed with over the next two years. The projects  would be bonded.
