New multi-use building planned for Jefferson Valley

Restaurant/offices/apartments planned for Lake Osceola site. Planning Board expresses concern over safety issue and unfinished work at Navajo Fields.

1. Costco Update
The FEIS is “almost finished” and should be ready for submission to the town by the end of the month.
 
2. Sanctuary Golf Course
The Board requested more information about both the structural integrity of the new retaining wall as well as the existing dam and advised the applicant to address the encroachment of an abutting property. The lighting and landscape plans are to be reviewed.
 
3. Creative Living/Navajo Fields
After a closed executive session, the Board asked for more information related to the proposed multi-story building in order to address the SEQRA segmentation issue. It also expressed concern over the delay in completing the required wetlands remediation and noted the absence of railings on the bridges which presented a safety issue. The building inspector has been asked to prepare a memo regarding the use of the site.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
4. Lake Osceola Square (East Main Street)
The Board indicated its support for a conceptual plan to build a new three story multi-use building on the site of the former Osceola Beach Club that will feature a restaurant, offices, eight residential units, and public access to the beach.
