1. Lake Osceola Realty Corp.
The Board opened and closed a public informational hearing on the proposed 27,000 square foot office building off Hill Boulevard and abutting Lake Osceola. Of concern to area property owners was the level of the lake and flooding issues along the shore of East Main Street properties.

2. Sophia’s Pizzeria (Turco’s Shopping Center)
The restaurant has plans to expand into the space vacated by the stationery store. The Board discussed the required number of parking spaces.

3. IBM helistop
Representatives of IBM continued to make their case for the helistop and two neighbors raised a series of concerns. The Board will set an August public hearing on the request for a special permit.

4. Costco
Representatives explained a change in the site plan that includes a new design and layout for the entrance from  Route 202. The change necessitated moving the gas pumps from one side of the lot to another. The Planning Department anticipates that at its August meeting, the Planning Board may accept the DEIS as complete, at which time it will be made available to the public.
