Important Health Information for Women!

"Breast Health & Cancer Risk: What Can You Do?" An educational program on screening, risk, and managing your health. Important information for all women, presented by a panel of expert professionals.

We all know that breast cancer is a very prevalent disease; in fact, it’s the most common cancer among American women, except for skin cancers. According to the American Cancer Society, about 1 in 8 (12%) women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime. Yet, knowing what to do about screening and assessing your personal risk can be confusing at best.

To help women understand the many factors that contribute to breast health and cancer risk, Support Connection, Inc. and Northern Westchester Hospital are teaming up to present a free educational program on Wednesday, May 22, from 6:30– 8 pm at The Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center at Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mt. Kisco. The program is open to the public but pre-registration is required: call Support Connection at 914-962-6402 or 800-532-4290.

The agenda has been selected to cover the many factors women must consider and the latest info on breast cancer screening. Specific topics will include:
