Huskers Win
The Yorktown softball squad opened its season Tuesday afternoon at home and came away with a 6-1 triumph against Arlington.
Nicole Wilson struck out nine and didn’t allow a run on the mound while at the plate tallied two hits and an RBI.
Teammate Leanne Farmer registered two hits and two RBI according to Debbie Schechter's post on the LoHud Softball Blog.
