Boys Lax

Lakeland/Panas

Senior middie Chris Monteferante was named first-team All-Hudson Valley by MSG Varsity.

Yorktown 

Conor Gately was named Hudson Valley Player of the Year by MSG Varsity. Teammates, senior middie Frankie Fusco (first-team), junior defenseman Trevor Koelsch (second team), and junior attackman Nick Mariano (second team) were also recognized.

Girls Lax

Lakeland/Panas

Senior midfielder/defender Chyna Hill, senior midfielder Emma Bozek and senior Alexa Bonnes, who plays attack, were first-team All-Hudson Valley selections by MSG Varsity.

Yorktown

Senior Stef Ranagan, who plays attack, was named All-Hudson Valley first team by MSG Varsity with teammate, senior goalie Katie Frederick, being named to the second team.

Softball

MSG Varsity selected Yorktown senior Miwa Wenzel as its utility player for its All-Hudson Valley third team according to Kevin Devaney Jr.'s story.

Baseball

MSG Varsity also gave out awards in baseball and to see who was honored in that sport, check out its website here.

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supplyRead More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
