Boys Lacrosse
Last week Yorktown resident Nick Garofano, who plays for Kennedy Catholic, was named the LoHud Boys Lacrosse Blog Player of the Week.

Huskers Win
Yorktown senior Brian Redahan's first varsity homer on the game's final pitch gave the Huskers a 3-2 baseball triumph against visiting Hendrick Hudson April 10.
Redahan also stole two bases in the game and pitched 1.1 scoreless innings for the win. Teammate Ryan Fagan drove in the game-tying run on a two-out base hit in the fifth inning according to Vincent Mercogliano's post on the LoHud Baseball Blog.
Hornets Nipped
Lakeland's baseball squad played rival Mahopac and was nipped by the host Indians according to Mercogliano 8-7 on April 10.
Lakeland's Nick Mariani walked twice and scored two runs.
