The Huskers fought hard for four long sets—and overcame an injury that took out a middle blocker at the beginning of the second set—to claim the Section I Class A title Friday evening.
Yorktown High School volleyball defeated John Jay Cross River 25-21, 17-25, 25-21 and a hard-fought 26-24 in the final held at Hendrick Hudson High School.
