Yorktown Students Treat Senior Citizens to Dinner and a Movie Night

Members of the Yorktown High School student senate served dinner to senior citizens and played a movie for them Friday night.

students volunteered their time Friday night to serve dinner to about 125 senior citizens and show a movie for them at the high school's auditorium. 

The event was organized by the Student Senate and attended by school administrators, as well as Yorktown councilman Vishnu Patel. Yorktown's seniors were treated to dinner, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and music.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ralph Napolitano commended the students for organizing and executing the "delightful" event.
