Yorktown Music Boosters to Host Sixth Annual Tag Sale

The tag sale will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The money raised will be used to help defray the cost band members' participation in regional music festivals.

The Yorktown High School Music Boosters will hold its sixth annual tag sale at the high school cafeteria on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The money raised through the tag sale will be used to help defray the cost of the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra's participation in regional music festivals. Dozens of families contribute a plethora of items, making the tag sale possible. Baked goods will also be available.

Donations will be accepted on Friday, Oct. 12 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and can be brought to the YHS Band Room. Donations of new or gently used collectibles, books, household items, small (working) appliances, clothing, furniture, toys, sports equipment or other items will be accepted.

Organizers are asking that no baby items, stuffed animals, upholstered furniture, mattresses, pillows or exercise equipment are donated.
