Yorktown councilman Vishnu Patel presented congratulatory certificate to all six honorees on behalf of the town board.
The Foundation for Excellence in Yorktown Education held its biggest fundraiser on Saturday, when six staff members were honored for their contributions to the district.
The Foundation was founded in 1993 to award grants to educators for "developing timely, innovative and creative projects that enrich the educational process of the Yorktown Central School District."
