Lakeland Voters Approve $160 Million School Budget

Lakeland school district voters approved the 2013-2014 $160,354,916 budget on Tuesday with 872 "yes" votes and 334 "no" votes, according to results reported by the school district.

The three school board members, who faced no opposition, were re-elected to their positions. Steven Korn received 1,005 votes; Elizabeth Kogler received 1,030 votes and Steve Rosen received 1,001 votes.
