Kennedy Catholic HS Baseball Player Signs Letter of Intent

Jason Agresti, of Yorktown, signed his National Letter of Intent to play D-I baseball for Binghamton University on a full-tuition scholarship.

Jason Agresti, a Yorktown resident and student at John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in Somers, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play Division-I baseball for Binghamton University on a full-tuition scholarship.

Agresti said he gave his verbal commitment over a year ago, but he has been waiting for this moment to arrive when he signs the Letter of Intent.

"I can’t wait to get there next fall," he said of the college.

Agresti, who was named an All-Section player last year, started his very first game behind the plate for the Gaels and "has been a team leader ever since," according to his coach Bob Fletcher.

Fletcher described Agresti as one of the most generous players he has ever coached with regard to working with younger players both in the classroom and on the field to help them get better.
