This was exactly the right move for the District to take. Enrollment will rise again sometime in the future. The cost of building a new school is astronomical, and send Taxes through the roof. If the Town can control the population density of the Town, Yorktown and Lakeland would be in fine shape. That is why I would never support multi or high density housing in the Town. Open space and non offensive Commerical development should be the future course.
