Four Yorktown High School students have signed National Letters of Intent to play lacrosse at the collegiate level.

Austin Fusco has committed to Syracuse University, Connor Vercruysse to Rutgers University, Luke Palmadesso to Villanova University and Kris Alvarado to Long Island University at Post.

Yorktown High School men’s lacrosse coach Dave Marr said he was "extremely proud" of these student athletes’ commitment to both the classroom and the lacrosse field.

"This is a culmination of many years of hard work by them, their parents, and their teammates," he said.

Athletic Director Fio Nardone said the offers reflect the fact that Yorktown continues to help produce outstanding student athletes.

"These young men are proving themselves worthy contributors to this tradition," Nardone said.
