Five YHS Students Receive Awards

Five students were recognized for their science research.

Yorktown High School science research students were presented with a certificate of achievement last week from Yorktown Councilman Vishnu Patel. The five students received the Sustainability Award on United Nations Day.

Elizabeth Crumley was recognized for her award-winning research on structural characteristics of bamboo. 

David (Linus) Hamann was recognized for his achievements in forecasting and managing solar energy.
