Senior Benefits Center

The Senior Benefits Center will be open each Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This free service will offer seniors and their families assistance with determining the benefits they need, Medicare questions, Prescription plans, food stamps, HEAP, EPIC, weatherization, minor home repair, tax relief programs, or any questions they might have.

The center is run by volunteers in the library gallery on the second floor mezzanine. The volunteers are trained by the Westchester Library System in collaboration with the Medicare Rights center to offer counseling in six libraries. Volunteers include retired professionals such as nurses, teachers, social workers and other professionals.
