Preventing Cyberbulling

Confronting cyberbullying will be the topic of the Dr. Samuel Kahn Memorial Lecture on December 9 from 9:00 am – 10:15 am. 

The presenters will be Sharon Charles, LCSW and Elizabeth Miller, LCSW, who are Coordinators of Margaret's Place, a domestic violence education, prevention and intervention program funded by the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation and administered locally by WJCS.

The discussion will cover outcomes and risk factors for youths being bullied and those bullying, including indicators correlating depression to bullying. They also will discuss strategies and resources for supporting families who are struggling with this issue.
