Are there Jews all over Africa, or just in Ethiopia? Might they be the “Lost Tribes” of Israel? Actually, yes, there are Jews in Africa. Come meet Aaron Kintu Moses, a leader of the Abayudaya Jewish community of Uganda. Aaron will share the story of his community’s evolution, from the struggle to maintain Jewish identity in the face of persecution, to the remarkable development of ties with neighbors of different faiths. Then, get ready to jam with Aaron to the beat of traditional Abayudaya music.
