Day 1 of Adams-Bernstein House Restoration [Video]

Mark Franzoso and Bill Primavera will video the process in a step-by-step series.

Mark Franzoso of Franzoso Contracting in Croton-on-Hudson and Yorktown's Bill Primavera, Franzoso's realtor and marketing partner on the project, discuss getting started with the restoration and clean-up of Adams-Bernstein House property in order to have better access to the house and barn.

They will video the process in a step-by-step series with suppliers as they provide their services and products, many of which are being donated as a community service.

The town of Yorktown sold the deteriorating Adams-Bernstein House, which has been the center of some controversy over the last two decades, in October, 2012 to a buyer who plans on restoring it as an affordable housing unit. The home, an 1840s farmhouse named for the tenant farmers who built it and the couple who once lived there, is located at 3147 Old Yorktown Road.
