Time will be spent examining some of the best Internet weather sites and learning how to forecast using the GFS model (developed by one of Jim’s former students).

Jim will also share his method of long range weather forecasting, which he uses to produce his annual long range weather calendar. Towards the end of the week, each participant will step into a meteorologist's job by presenting his or her own weathercast, which will be recorded and made available to our campers and their families.
