Westchester County Executive Candidates to Discuss Environmental Policy Tonight

Written by Rasheed Oluwa:

Westchester County Robert Astorino and New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson, the Democratic challenger for the county executive seat in November’s election, are meeting tonight at the Pace Law School’s Gerber Glass Law Center to discuss local environmental issues.

The forum, which is being hosted by the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund and Pace Law School, will last from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Astorino and Bramson will answer questions on a range of sustainability issues, including waterfront development, stormwater management, post-Sandy rebuilding and much more.

The forum is a great opportunity for civic organizations, environmental groups, block associations, and voters to find out where the candidates stand on sustainability issue.
