Yorktown Woman Captured on Felony Warrant for Abduction of Child Family Member

A 58-year-old Yorktown woman, who was wanted on a felony warrant in Virginia for the abduction of a child family member, was captured last week by Yorktown police.

The City of Fredericksburg Police Department in Virginia alerted the Yorktown Police Department and requested their help to locate Gail Seabrook. The woman was located in her Yorktown home along with the child, who had been reported missing, Yorktown police said. 

Police did not identify the relationship between Seabrook and the child.

She woman was arrested and the child was turned over to protective services, police said. 

Seabrook was processed and remanded to the Westchester County Jail pending extradition processing by Fredericksburg, Virginia.
