A 42-year-old Yorktown woman faces a drunken driving charge, Yorktown police said.
Kathleen Corcoran's vehicle was stopped on Route 132 when police observed the woman allegedly failed to maintain her traffic lane on Sept. 15 at about 1:55 a.m. Police said the woman was allegedly drunk. When she submitted a breath test, her blood alcohol level was allegedly at .08 percent or more.
Corcoran was processed at police headquarters and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors; as well as failure to maintain traffic lane, a traffic violation.
The defendant was released to a family member and schedule to appear in court on Oct. 18.
