Yorktown Man, 55, Charged with DWI, Possession of Marijuana

A 55-year-old Yorktown man is facing criminal charges for drunken driving and possession of marijuana, New York State police troopers said. 

The man's vehicle was stopped on Nov. 24 at around 4:27 p.m. after police observed him speeding on the Taconic State Parkway.
 
Police said the man provided a positive breath sample which yielded a blood alcohol content of .08 percent. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

The man was scheduled to appear before the Town of Milan Justice Court on Dec. 19.
