Yorktown, Lake Mohegan, Golden's Bridge Fire Commissioners Election

Board of Fire Commissioners election is right around the corner. Voting will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

The Lake Mohegan Fire District vote will take place at the Jefferson Valley fire station, located at 500 Lee Boulevard in Jefferson Valley, for the purpose of electing one commissioner. The five-year term would commence on Jan. 1, 2013 and end of Dec. 31, 2017. All registered residents of the Lake Mohegan Fire District are eligible to vote. 

The Golden's Bridge Fire District vote will take place at the firehouse located at Route 138 in Golden's Bridge. Qualified voters to cast their ballot for a commissioner are residents in the town of Lewisboro, Somers and North Salem. 

The Yorktown Heights Engine Company #1 will hold its polling place at the Yorktown Fire Station on Commerce Street. Voters can cast their ballots for a commissioner. The term is five years and an election is held every year. Eligible to vote are residents of Yorktown Heights Fire District.
