Yorktown Cops: Man, 32, Wounds Two Other Men with Kitchen Knife

A 32-year-old man, who has no permanent address according to police, had wounded two men with a kitchen knife during a domestic dispute, Yorktown police said.

Marquis Hart was charged with second-degree assault, a felony; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

Police responded to a domestic dispute call at a residence on 250 Underhill Avenue on Nov. 8 at midnight. Upon their arrival, police discovered two men had knife wounds to their hands. Hart had wounded them with a kitchen knife and left the scene prior to police arrival, Yorktown police said in a statement.

The man was located at approximately 2:15 a.m. on Railroad Avenue. Police said Hart "violently" resisted arrest, but was eventually taken into custody.

He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Nov. 12.
