Yorktown Cops: Cortlandt Teen, 16, Hits Mohegan Lake Man in Face with Pie

A 16-year-old Cortlandt Manor teen is due in court later this month to answer a charge that he hit a man in the face with a pie, Yorktown police said.

The teen, whose name police did not release, was charged with second-degree harassment, a violation.

Yorktown police said they investigated a harassment complaint on Leisure Way on June 8 at about 2:15 p.m. Police said the 16-year-old teen ran up to a 54-year-old Mohegan Lake man and hit him in the face with a pie.

Criminal summons were applied after the teen was identified as the suspect. He appeared in Yorktown Police Headquarters on July 8. He was later released and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on July 25.
