Yorktown Cops Arrest Montrose Man, 22, for Being in Possession of Marijuana

A 22-year-old Montrose man is facing criminal charges in Yorktown for being in possession of marijuana, Yorktown police said. 

The man was arrested on July 9 after he was stopped for speeding on Route 134, police sad. Investigation revealed he was in possession of marijuana. He was charged with seventh-degree controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and numerous traffic infractions. 

The man was processed at police headquarters and later released on $100 bail. He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Aug. 8.
