A 28-year-old Peekskill woman has been arrested for stealing three pairs of earrings and a handbag from a Yorktown store, police said.
Sears security personnel reported the incident to Yorktown police on Nov. 24. Police said the woman was taken into custody for attempting to exit the store without paying for the items, which are valued at $65.
The woman was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, and released on $500 bail.
She was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Dec. 19.
