Two Women Charged with Shoplifting, Man Arrested for Breaking Printer

Police have arrested a 33-year-old Mahopac woman, who was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
Kimberly A. Zilempe was arrested on Nov. 2 after police received a call from Sears security that a shoplifter was in custody. Police said the woman exited the store without attempting to pay for assorted women's clothing and jewelry valued at $291.98.

She was released on $100 bail and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 4.

A 50-year-old Croton-on-Hudson woman was arrested for stealing a wallet in Yorktown, police said.
Katherine A. Salyer was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. Macy's security personnel reported to police on Nov. 2 that they had a shoplifter in custody. Police allege the woman had exited Macy’s without attempting to pay for a Guess wallet valued at $45.
Salyer was released on $400 bail. The woman was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Dec. 4.
Phoenix Academy Teen Breaks Computer Printer
A 15-year-old Bronx teen is facing a juvenile delinquency charge, Yorktown police said.
The teen, whose name police did not release, is a resident of Phoenix Academy in Yorktown. Police said the teen broke a $500 computer printer and arrested him on Nov. 5.
Had the teen been charged as an adult, he would have faced a felony third-degree criminal mischief charge.
The teen was later transported to Woodfield Cottage, where he was held until Nov. 7 before appearing at the Westchester County Department of Probation.
