Santa Claus was assisted by members of the Yorktown and Mohegan Lake fire departments this weekend as they went through town street-by-street taking toy requests and giving out candy canes to young residents.
The Mohegan Lake Fire Department, which covers parts of both Yorktown and Cortlandt, sent two trucks out each day, and the Yorktown Fire Department sent three out Sunday morning and afternoon.
