Road Rage on Route 35 Leads to Arrest

A Mahopac man is due in Somers town court March 17 to answer a charge of third-degree menacing.

Police arrested him March 13, the day after a woman called to report an incident on Route 35 in Somers. Police said apparently the two were driving on Route 35 and he believed he had been "cut off" by her. She told police he followed her, forced her to stop, attempted to open her door and threatened her verbally.

He voluntarily turned himself in to the state police as they investigated.
