Always amusing when being pulled over for a relatively minor infraction like not wearing a seat belt results in so many much more serious charges. All of which could have been avoided had the idiot just worn his seat belt!

Actually, this is a better example: http://yorktown-somers.patch.com/articles/yorktown-woman-19-charged-with-drunk-driving But it pales in comparison to the two guys from Brooklyn who were arrested for making an illegal left turn out of the A&P shopping center in Mahopac a year or two ago. The cop who pulled them over discovered credit cards thrown all over the car. It turns out they were buying gift cards with stolen/fraudulent credit cards. Never would have been caught had they not made the illegal left turn. Not sure if they were wearing their seat belt or not.
