Police: Two Teens Charged with Assault for Punching Victim

Two teens are due in Yorktown Town Court tonight to answer assault charges, Yorktown Police said. 

The 16-year-old Bronx resident and 18-year-old Queens resident, whose names police did not release due to their eligibility for youthful offender status, were arrested on Oct. 21 and charged with assault, a misdemeanor.

Police said the two teens punched a victim in the face, causing physical injuries. They were arrested and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail each.

The two teens were scheduled to appear in court on oct. 25.
