Police: Two 'Smile Spa' Workers Charged with Prostitution

Mei Hua Jin and Mei Shu Jin allegedly gave massages to police officers and then offered to perform sexual acts for money.

Two massage parlor employees in Mohegan Lake have been charged with prostitution after they allegedly offered to perform a sexual act during a police undercover operation, police said. 

Mei Hua Jin, 47, and Mei Shu Jin, 41, both of Flushing, Queens, were arrested on Thursday and charged with prostitution, misdemeanors. Both women were employees at Smile Spa, located on the second floor at 1903 East Main Street on Route 6 in Mohegan Lake.

Police said they had received several anonymous complaints that there was possible prostitution occurring at the business. Police conducted their sting on March 22 at about 8 p.m. Both women allegedly gave massages to the police officers and then offered to perform sexual acts for money.

The defendants were arrested and transported to the for processing. They were released on $100 bail and scheduled to appear in on April 24.

That massage parlor was located on the second floor of the same building as Smile Spa, at 1903 East Main St. in Mohegan Lake. The arrests were made in response to several anonymous complaints from area residents.

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supplyRead More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
