Underage Drinking Party

A 17-year-old Yorktown teen has been charged with providing alcohol to underage youths at his home, police said.

The teen, whose name police did not release because of his possible eligibility for youthful offender status, was charged with second-degree criminal nuisance, a misdemeanor.

Police received a report of a possible underage drinking party at a Campbell Road residence on Dec. 12. Investigation revealed the teen provided alcoholic beverages to several youths under the age of 21 while at the home.

The teen was arrested, processed at police headquarters and later released to a parent. She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Jan. 22.

Violation of Order of Protection

A 21-year-old Mahopac woman is facing criminal charges for violating an order of protection issued by the Peekskill City Court, Yorktown police said.

The woman was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.

Police said on Dec. 10 a male reported to police that the woman had visited his place of business in violation of an order of protection.

The woman voluntarily appeared at police headquarters on Dec. 11. She was later released without bail and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Jan. 15.
