Police: Man Charged with DWI on Taconic

The information was provided by New York State Police. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 60-year-old Massachusetts man has been arrested for driving drunk on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, state police troopers said. 

Michael J. Bandzierz's vehicle was stopped on Oct. 10 for moving from his travel lane unsafely, police said.

Investigation revealed the man was intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent.

He was processed and released. Bandzierz was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Oct. 25.
