Police: Man, 47, Hits Vehicle with Hands, Causes Damage

A 49-year-old Lake Peekskill man was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Tuesday to answer a felony charge that he hit a vehicle with his hands and damaged the vehicle, Yorktown police said. 

Michael Hritz was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony.

Police said officer Nicholson was dispatched on Nov. 21 to investigate a report that a man had hit another vehicle with his hands and caused damage to the rear passenger side of the vehicle.

Hritz voluntarily appeared at police headquarters on Nov. 21. He was later released on $250 cash bail and scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 27.
