Police Investigate Overnight Robbery in Mohegan Lake

The victim was beaten and robbed on Route 6.


The New York State Police at Cortlandt are investigating an overnight robbery which occurred at State Route 6 and Lexington Avenue, in front of Mohegan Park Home for Adults, an assisted living facility/group home for adults with developmental disabilities.

The victim was assaulted by two men at about 12:50 a.m., police said. They beat him in the head and stole $180 that he had in his pocket.

The victim was treated at Hudson Valley Hospital Center; the injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.

Go to Augies right across thye street and the same thing will happen to your wallet without the volence. I'd rather get a beating than endure the woman who runs that joint.
