Mohegan Lake Man Charged With Possession of Forged Driver's License

The passenger Robert P. Bronstein, 19, of Mohegan Lake, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony.

Police investigation into a vehicle passing through a stop sign in Yorktown revealed the driver to be in possession of marijuana and his passenger to be in possession of a fake I.D. 

The 19-year-old Mohegan Lake man and driver was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a possession.

The passenger Robert P. Bronstein, 19 of Mohegan Lake, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony. 

Police said the driver passed through a stop sign without stopping at the intersection of Clover Road and West Road on Jan. 26. The vehicle was stopped on Lexington Avenue. Bronstein was found to be in possession of a forged Pennsylvania driver's license, Yorktown police said.

The driver was issued traffic summons and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Feb. 26. Bronstein was released on $200 bail and was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 5.
