Menacing Charge; Bench Warrant: Yorktown Police Blotter

Menacing:
A 29-year-old Hedwig Drive resident faces a misdemeanor menacing charge.

Yorktown police called to a domestic dispute at 11:19 p.m. July 20 said the man picked up a kitchen chair and threatened to hit another man with it.

He was arraigned and released on $250 bail and is due back in Yorktown Town Court on Aug. 5.

Bench Warrant: An 18-year-old Bronx resident didn't show up for his court date in Yorktown in Februrary to answer an assault charge.

The judge issued a bench warrant.

On July 18 he was at the Bronx Probation department—and officers held him there until the Yorktown police could go get him.

He was arraigned and sent to Westchester County Jail on $750 bail, with reappearance set for 6 p.m. tonight.
