Kmart Employees, 19 and 20, Arrested for Stealing BB Gun

Two employees have been arrested for stealing a BB gun from the store, said.

Stephen M. Agosto, 19 of Croton-on-Hudson, and [Name Removed], 20 of Yorktown, were charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.

Police said the two men were seen to conceal a BB gun in a bush outside the store on Aug. 31. An investigation at the scene, including the viewing of store surveillance video, revealed the two defendants allegedly stole that BB gun from Kmart while they were at work. The BB gun was valued at $43.64, police said.

Agosto and [Name Removed] were arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters. Agosto was released on $200 bail and [Name Removed] was released on his own recognizance.

Both men were scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 2.
