A 23-year-old Stony Point man, who was employed at the Zumiez store in the Jefferson Valley Mall, is accused of stealing $950 from the night deposits, Yorktown police said.
The man is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Dec. 3 to answer the theft charge following his arrest on Oct. 28.
He was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
Police said the theft occurred between Sept. 28 and Oct. 12 while the man was working at the store.
