Drunk and Disruptive in the Middle of Sagamore Avenue

A Mohegan Lake woman faces a charge of disorderly conduct, a violation, after a domestic dispute ended up in the middle of the street.

Yorktown police Officers Donald Peters and Angel Garcia and Sgt. John LaPlaca responded to a home on Sagamore Avenue at 11 a.m. June 10 after a Peekskill man reported that he was in the middle of a dispute there.

Police said the 32-year-old woman was highly intoxicated, disrupted traffic and shouted obscenities in the roadway.

After she was arrested and booked at Yorktown Police headquarters, she was taken by the Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for evaluation, police said.

She is due in Yorktown town court July 10.
