Driver Falls Asleep in the Right Lane on the Taconic Parkway

On May 10, 2014 at approximately 9:01 a.m., State Police from the Stormville barracks arrested Emmanuel Moya, 25 years old, of Mahopac, New York, and charged him with Felony Driving While Intoxicated.
 
Moya was arrested after police located his vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway, stopped in the roadway and partially blocking the right lane. When troopers approached the vehicle, they observed him sleeping behind the wheel.  Moya was charged with Felony DWI when investigation revealed that he had been previously convicted of Driving While Intoxicated.
 
Moya was arraigned before the Town of East Fishkill Justice Court and was released on his own recognizance.  Moya is scheduled to reappear in court on May 21, 2014.
