Cops: Yorktown Business Owner, 77, Sells Cigarettes to Minor

The owner of Napoli's Pizza was charged with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child for selling cigarettes to a 16-year-old boy.

A 77-year-old Yorktown man has been arrested for selling cigarettes to a minor, Yorktown police said. 

Antonio DiFroscia, a business owner in town, was charged with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor. 

Police said they received reports of sales of cigarettes to minors at Napoli's Pizza, located at 1912 East Main Street, and conducted a surveillance of the Mohegan Lake business on Jan. 12.

DiFroscia was arrested after police saw him sell a package of Marlboro Gold cigarettes to a 16-year-old male patron. The man was released without bail and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Feb. 26.
