A 39-year-old Mohegan Lake man is due in Yorktown Town Court next month to answer a charge that he assaulted a 17-year-old person, Yorktown police said.
Police were assigned to investigate an assault complaint on Sept. 23 and discovered the man had punched and injured the teen victim, who was later transported to the Westchester County Medical Center for treatment.
The man was placed under arrest and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Oct. 1.
