Cops: Man Steals Bottle of Cologne; Three Men Arrested for Disorderly Conduct at Murphy's

Stolen Bottle of Cologne

A 26-year-old Putnam Valley man has been charged with stealing a $57 bottle of cologne from Sears, Yorktown police said. 

The man was arrested on Nov. 23 and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. He was released on $100 bail and scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 3, 2013.

Three Disorderly Men at Murphy's

Three men are facing violation disorderly conduct charges for "fighting, causing a disturbance and endangering others around" outside of Murphy's Restaurant on Nov. 22 at about 2 a.m., police said.

While police were investigating the incident, one of the men used "loud and obscene language and threats," police said.

The three men – a 25-year-old Yorktown, 22-year-old Yorktown and 25-year-old Cortlandt Manor residents – were arrested. They were released on $50 bail each and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 20. 

Man Verbally Threatens to Hurt Teen

Police have issued criminal summons to a 20-year-old Mohegan Lake man for verbally threatening to cause physical harm to a 15-year-old person, police said. 

The man was charged with second-degree harassment, a violation. He is scheduled appear in Yorktown Town Court on Jan. 8, 2013.
