Cops: Man, 44, Arrested on Bench Warrant for Skipping Court Date

Anthony S. Puoti voluntarily surrendered to the Yorktown Police Department headquarters on March 21 after learning of the warrant. He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

A 44-year-old Bronx man, who failed to appear in Yorktown Town Court to answer a prior attempted assault, has been arrested on a bench warrant, Yorktown police said. 

Anthony S. Puoti voluntarily surrendered to the Yorktown Police Department headquarters on March 21 after learning of the warrant. He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Puoti was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on March 26.

A 27-year-old Yonkers man was also arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear for a scheduled court appearance in Yorktown Town Court in reference to a violation of probation charge.

Westchester County Police learned of the warrant when they stopped Timothy M. Feeley on the Cross County Parkway on an unrelated incident. Feeley was transported to Yorktown Police headquarters where he was arrested.

The man was remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $1,000 bail. He was scheduled to appear in court on March 26.
